This is an ongoing project starting in 2020 shortly after the lockdown.
It is a body of work surrounding where I live in Lawrence, Kansas.
With perfect vision all my life until now
Not being able to see things clearly up close is strange and unsettling
I imagine my new world to be this way
a very different one
Hiding in the grass with all types of insects that I’m not fond of
Yet, I wonder what it is like to be in it
A place where control is no longer in my hand
